Restaurant Bartender

You will be in charge of taking drink orders, recommending beer and wine, preparing traditional and unique mixed drinks, and maintaining the bar area so it is clean and sanitary at all times. Responsibilities: • Purchase needed bar supplies, stock and track all wine, liquor, and beer stocks, and have a full supply of glassware on hand, notifying management of any supply issues or shortages • Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed • Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including wine, beer, liquor, mixed drinks, and more • Receive payments and settle patron checks and tabs, as well as correctly record daily sales totals in point of sale system • Check customers age by verifying identification cards and serve alcoholic beverages to patrons per federal, state, local, and company laws and regulations Qualifications: • Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills • This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the patron first and providing exceptional customer service • Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED) • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members • We prefer some experience working in the food service industry Compensation: $6 hourly plus tips
