Sr. Operations Scheduler

Senior Operations Scheduler role at Medtronic's Tempe facility within the Operations Scheduling team. Manages production schedules, material requirements, and inventory forecasting while collaborating with manufacturing and cross-functional partners to ensure optimal resource flow and meet production timelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, release, and manage production schedules and material requirements timing
• Monitor work-in-progress status, material availability, inventory levels, and supply disruptions
• Coordinate interdepartmental scheduling with quality, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering
• Manage MRP master data within SAP and troubleshoot material scheduling issues
• Track key scheduling metrics including schedule adherence, backlog, and inventory forecasting

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum 4 years supply chain planning experience, or advanced degree with 2 years experience
• Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Access and Excel
• Working knowledge of SAP environment
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred
• Medical device or medical supplies manufacturing experience preferred
• Demonstrated project management and Lean/Six Sigma experience preferred
