Autobody Paint & Body TechnicianWe are seeking experienced Autobody Paint & Body Technicians to join our growing team at Auffenberg Dealer Group in Shiloh, Illinois. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of auto body repair services on a variety of vehicles.Responsibilities May Include:Priming, prepping, sanding, masking for paintConducting full vehicle inspections to determine the extent of damage and necessary repairsRepairing and replacing damaged body parts, such as doors, fenders, and bumpersStraightening and aligning frames and chassisWelding and soldering damaged areasPrepping and painting vehicles to match original factory specificationsRepair and refinish damaged vehicles to pre-accident conditionDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issuesWork efficiently and accurately to meet or exceed deadlinesMaintaining a clean and organized work areaRequirements:Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Body Shop TechnicianStrong knowledge of auto body repair techniques and toolsAbility to read and interpret repair orders and estimatesAbility to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periodsI-CAR certification is a plusProficient in all aspects of body repair and refinishingKnowledge of frame repair and measuring techniquesExperience with advanced repair techniques such as welding, riveting, and bondingStrong attention to detail and qualityWe offer competitive pay, benefits, and a great working environment.
