Job Title: General Production Worker - 2nd Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent General Production Worker for the 2nd shift. You will be required to pass a tape measure test as part of the application process.

Responsibilities

• Work at different stations as production requires.

• Inspect, weigh, and package products.

• Empty bailer when full.

• Assist and help prep rolls for machine operator.

• Monitor the flow of product into processing machinery.

• Verify compliance with quality, safety, and production standards.

• Ensure adherence to work rules and efficient operation of equipment.

• Report potential downtime, production scrap, and machine quality issues.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including sweeping around the bailer.

• Use a tape measure accurately.

Essential Skills

• Experience in production and machine operation.

• Proficiency in packaging and cycle counts.

• General labor experience.

• Ability to use a tape measure effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 6 months of prior warehouse or manufacturing experience.

Work Environment

This role is based in a manufacturing environment with running machines. Located in the Chambersburg, PA area, our startup offers a corporate location in Illinois. The position is a 2nd shift role with hours from Monday to Friday (5pm-3am) and Saturday (5pm-1am). Initial training occurs during the 1st shift from Monday to Friday (7am-5pm) and Saturday (7am-3pm). All employees must be flexible to work 10-hour days, including Saturdays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chambersburg, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
