As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Saturday: 11:00 AM – 07:00 PM

Sunday: 11:00 AM – 07:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, parking areas, exterior perimeter, and other assigned locations.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.

Monitor for suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, and policy violations, and report observations to appropriate personnel.

Assist with access control, visitor directions, and the documentation of incidents, patrols, and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
