MRI Technologist – Bronx, NY.

Location: Bronx, NY.
Employment Type: Full-time, Part-time, or Per Diem.
Pay: $55 – $60/hour.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team at a multi-specialty practice in the Bronx, NY. In this role, you'll perform high-quality MRI examinations to support accurate diagnosis and patient care. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Radiology, or a related field.
• New York State License.
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification preferred.
• Any medical background (EMT, CMA, Medical Assistant) preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI examinations according to established protocols and physician orders.
• Position patients correctly and ensure their comfort and safety throughout each procedure.
• Screen patients for MRI safety contraindications (implants, metal, etc.).
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, reporting any malfunctions.
• Ensure image quality and provide studies to radiologists for interpretation.
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to all safety and infection-control protocols.
