Job Title: MIG Welder
Job Description

Join our team as a MIG Welder, where you will specialize in welding various types of steel and alloys used in playground equipment. You will primarily work with steel, stainless steel, aluminum, black steel, and various alloys. These materials are typically thinner gauges, up to 1/8" thick, requiring precision and sensitivity. You will be responsible for welding based on blueprints, with some duties involving moving fixtures into welding bays, which may require lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on steel and alloys for playground equipment.
• Work with materials including steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and black steel.
• Interpret and weld according to blueprints.
• Move fixtures into welding bays, requiring lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ensure precision welding on thinner gauge materials.

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience (or equivalent schooling) in MIG welding.
• Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints; blueprint reading test required.
• Proficiency in using a tape measure down to 1/32".
• Capability to lift 50 lbs without restrictions.

• 2-Year Welding Degree preferred.
• Experience in pipe welding is a plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Delano, MN.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.
