Responsibilities
- Perform specialized mammography imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease
- Position patients, ensure proper breast compression, and optimize image quality while maintaining patient safety and comfort
- Operate mammography equipment and related imaging software; monitor equipment performance and report issues
- Review acquired images for diagnostic adequacy; collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate interpretation
- Maintain thorough documentation of procedures, patient data, and image quality; ensure accurate records
- Provide compassionate patient care, educate patients about procedures, and uphold privacy and infection control standards
- Collaborate with technologists, physicians, and other team members to coordinate efficient patient flow

Requirements
- California radiologic technologist licensure or eligibility per state requirements
- Mammography imaging experience or demonstrated ability to perform breast imaging in a clinical setting
- Knowledge of radiation safety, QA principles, and imaging quality standards
- Strong patient-care, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a hospital-based environment and adhere to department protocols
- Flexibility to work a 4x10-hour daytime schedule for a travel assignment
