At WhiteSpace dev ops is not a tag line or marketed capability it is something we are committed to and is a pillar of our business. To put it bluntly, our dev ops do not just make widgets blink, they control fleets of servers with a mind-blowing elegance. Most of our dev ops engineers come from a software development background, are familiar with programming techniques and concepts, and have leveraged automation to provision applications and environments through configuration management techniques. Responsibilities:
- Serve as part of the development team and work on user stories shoulder to shoulder with peer engineers
- Ensure that systems allow cloud provisioning and high availability
- Manage environment and application hardening as well as mitigating vulnerabilities
- Provide continuous delivery and secrets management
Requirements:
- Experience in continuous delivery
- Familiarity with configuration management tools such as TaraForm, Cloud Formation, or Ansible
- Familiarity with telemetry tools such as The Elk Stack, Grafana, Prometheus
- Experience with server side scripting tools such as Python or GO
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience
