Surgical Technician II - Main Campus Kelsey - Seybold Clinic

Primary Responsibilities Prepares the instruments for each surgical procedure Scrubs in on surgical cases to prepare instruments and assists the surgeon Assists in room turn over and is responsible for instrument decontamination Contributes to the orientation of new surgical technicians Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development as it relates to specific age groups This position works as needed to provide staffing for the ASC OR This position serves the following age groups: Infant, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric Required Qualifications Graduate from a surgical technology program which is CAAHEP or ABHES accredited BLS certification 3+ years of surgical technician experience Mastery of advanced Surgical Technician skills and extensive knowledge of at least one specialty service Basic computer skills and experience Preferred Qualifications CST certification Ambulatory Surgery Center or hospital experience Experience in multi‑specialty services Benefits Pay is based on several factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. The hourly pay for this role will range from $17.98 to $36.44 per hour based on full‑time employment.
