Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - Surgery - $2,713 per week

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Ironwood, Michigan.

MGR INTERVIEW

Unit Specific: 3 ORs and 1 endoscopy room
Required skills: ortho and general cases on call for ortho- Total knee, hip, shoulder, ORIFs, many hip fractures, I&Ds, General- lap appy, lap chole, lap hernia, EGD/ Colonoscopy, Lesion removals, lumpectomy, hemorrhoidectomy, OB/GYN- hysteroscopy, hysterectomy, lap salpingectomy, Eyes- cataract removal, podiatry- bunionectomy, 
Float Requirements: Candidates will be expected to work in pre-op, PACU, endoscopy, and circulate cases.

Required Certifications: BLS (ARC or AHA), ACLS (AHA or ARC) and MI RN license.

Required Education: ADN or BSN

Minimum Experience: 2+ years’ experience. Strong circulating experience. PACU experience preferred. Pre/post- op REQUIRED

On Call/Call-Back: 1-2x per week from end of shift to 0700 the next day.
Weekend/Holiday: occasional weekend call – Friday, Saturday and Sun through 0700 on Monday. No holiday shifts, but holiday call is required. When on call they will be the nurse managing cases from surgical admission to unit discharge.
