Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Location: San Antonio, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7P-7:30A, with weekend requirements every other week.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to meeting the unique needs of each patient and work collaboratively with a friendly and supportive healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room.
• Participate in procedures such as conscious sedation and intubations.
• Conduct assessments and implement care plans.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and responses to treatment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to enhance patient care.
• Adhere to established safety and infection control protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses are not accepted).
• Current certifications in PALS or ENPC, ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and NIHSS.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting.
