Social Media Coordinator

Title: Social Media Coordinator
Type: Contract (~12 months; strong likelihood of extension)
Location: Remote (U.S.-based only)
Hours: 9 AM - 5 PM EST (mandatory alignment)
Conversion: Possible if local & open to 5-day in-office (not guaranteed)
Pay Rate: $30/hr on W2
Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
- Execute social strategies defined by leadership (Ellie)
- Manage publishing across:
- LinkedIn ( primary channel )
- YouTube, X, Instagram (secondary)
- Use social publishing tools (e.g., Sprinklr or similar)
- Coordinate campaigns, timelines, and asset creation
- Manage workflows via Asana (or similar tools)
- Partner with:
- Design
- Video
- Copy / Content
- Maintain strict compliance workflows :
- Content approvals
- Audit trails
- Risk mitigation before publishing
- Supporting 2 brands initially (more may be added)
- Approx. 3-5 posts/week total
- Strategy:
- Custom per brand (led by Ellie)
- Coordinator contributes light strategic input (not purely executional)
- Reporting:
- Standardized analytics framework across brands
- 1-3 years in social media marketing
- Strong expertise in LinkedIn
- Experience with:
- Social tools (Sprinklr or similar)
- Project management tools (Asana or similar)
- Strong organizational + communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment
- Background in financial services or regulated industry
- Experience with compliance tools:
- Red Oak
- Compliance Alpha
- Familiarity with:
- Content approval workflows
- Legal/compliance review processes
- NOT a content creator / influencer
- NOT just a scheduler or coordinator
- SHOULD BE:
- Detail-oriented + process-driven
- Comfortable with compliance-heavy environments
- Able to switch between multiple brands quickly
- Capable of contributing to strategy (basic level)
- High collaboration across marketing functions
- Fast-paced with multiple deadlines
- Remote culture but:
- Camera ON required for Zoom meetings
- Professional, polished communication expected
- ~3-4 rounds:
- Hiring Manager + Ellie
- Social Media Team
- Brand Marketing Leadership
- Marketing Leadership (final, selective candidates)
- Funnel:
- 2-3 candidates → Brand Marketing
- 1-2 candidates → Final round
