Position Summary We are seeking dependable, compassionate, and safety-focused drivers to join our Denver team. As an NEMT Driver, you will transport ambulatory and wheelchair-bound passengers to medical appointments while providing exceptional customer service. This position requires professionalism, punctuality, and the ability to safely assist passengers with varying mobility needs. Responsibilities Safely transport passengers to and from medical appointments in company vehicles. Assist passengers entering and exiting the vehicle, including wheelchair securement when necessary. Operate wheelchair lifts and secure mobility devices using proper procedures. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Maintain accurate trip documentation using company technology. Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding schedules, delays, or route changes. Follow all company policies, DOT regulations, and traffic laws. Keep vehicles clean, fueled, and in good operating condition. Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining passenger confidentiality and professionalism. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age. Valid Colorado Driver's License with a clean driving record. Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review. Ability to safely lift and maneuver mobility equipment (up to approximately 50 lbs.). Strong communication and customer service skills. Reliable, punctual, and professional. Experience in healthcare transportation, caregiving, EMT, paratransit, or customer service is preferred but not required—we provide full training.
