Senior Civil Engineer - Land Development

Senior Civil Engineer – Land Development (QSR) About the Opportunity We're seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join a growing civil engineering team specializing in commercial land development projects across the Western United States. What You'll Do Design grading, drainage, and utility improvements for commercial land development projects. Prepare permit and entitlement-level plan sets using Civil 3D and AutoCAD. Develop grading plans, utility plans, street improvements, wall plans and profiles, hydrology studies, and stormwater quality documentation. Coordinate with internal design teams, clients, consultants, and local agencies throughout each project's lifecycle. Produce engineering designs that are ready for drafting and construction documentation. Manage multiple active projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and schedule expectations. Help solve site-specific engineering challenges across numerous jurisdictions with varying design requirements. What We're Looking For 5+ years of experience in private-sector land development engineering . Strong background in grading, drainage, and utility design. Proficiency with Civil 3D and AutoCAD. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Preferred Qualifications Experience with retail, restaurant, or quick-service restaurant (QSR) developments. Knowledge of stormwater management, NPDES, LID, or water quality requirements. Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus but not required. Experience working across multiple municipalities or jurisdictions.
