Systems Administrator

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Systems Administrator to join a growing IT team in the Phoenix area. This professional will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, security, and optimization of the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, operating systems, cloud environments, virtualization platforms, and enterprise applications. The ideal candidate brings strong troubleshooting abilities, a proactive mindset, and experience supporting both on-premises and cloud-based technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and maintain Windows and/or Linux server environments.Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Azure Active Directory/Entra ID.Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure and business-critical systems.Install, configure, update, and patch servers, operating systems, and enterprise applications.Support virtualization environments such as VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V.Manage Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.Assist with cloud infrastructure administration in Azure and/or AWS environments.Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning and testing.Troubleshoot escalated hardware, software, networking, and connectivity issues.Maintain endpoint management solutions and deploy security updates across the environment.Implement and enforce cybersecurity best practices, including access controls, endpoint protection, and vulnerability remediation.Create and maintain technical documentation, system diagrams, and operational procedures.Collaborate with help desk, network engineering, security, and business stakeholders on infrastructure initiatives.Support IT projects including system upgrades, migrations, deployments, and cloud transformations.Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support when necessary.
