Occupational TherapistAdminister therapy and assists in the planning and implementation of therapy programs.Performs formal evaluations for students referred by the Individual Education Plan (IEP) team for evaluation of perceptual motor and/or self-help skills as they impact educational performance.Writes goals and objectives for perceptual motor and self-help skills.Develop and implement individual treatment plans, specifying type, frequency, intensity, and duration of therapy.Serves as a member of the IEP team for identified students and attends IEP meetings as required.Provides consulting services to students, families and staff, as needed.Coordinates the program of service delivery with others as appropriate.Coordinates scheduling with parents and team members for treatment sessions and meetings.Gathers and inputs data in to MD Online IFSP program and MOIEP programs.Writing occupational therapy evaluations, reevaluations, discharges, progress reports, interims, daily notes, and occupational therapy assistant supervision notes.Maintains special education department policies and procedures as established by the Code of Federal Regulations, Code of Maryland Regulations, and local school system policy.Maintains inventory and proper care of equipment used for program support including modification of existing equipment or fabrication of necessary equipment.Completes all requires paperwork for program support.Provides the required monthly clinical supervision to COTAs.Provides supervision for occupational therapy assistant.
