Provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, including scaling and prophylaxis. Perform fluoride applications and other preventive dental procedures. Provide ongoing maintenance and care for dental implant patients. Perform gross debridement for partial denture patients as permitted by state regulations. Conduct patient consultations and reinforce dentist-recommended treatment plans. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and strategies for maintaining long-term oral health. Provide clear post-operative instructions and ensure patients understand their recommended care. Support patients throughout their treatment journey by creating a welcoming, professional, and compassionate experience. Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation in accordance with office protocols. Follow all infection control, sterilization, OSHA, and patient safety standards. Collaborate closely with dentists, dental assistants, laboratory professionals, and other team members to support comprehensive patient care. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment. Perform additional duties as needed to support patient care and overall office success. Qualifications Required: High School Diploma or GED Active Dental Hygienist license required Strong communication and patient education skills Ability to provide high-quality clinical care in a fast-paced dental environment Commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and compassionate patient care Preferred Qualifications: Experience as a Dental Hygienist in a general, prosthodontic, or specialty dental practice Experience providing hygiene care for dental implant patients Experience with implant maintenance Experience with removable prosthetics or denture patients Experience performing gross debridement Familiarity with dental practice management software and electronic patient records Experience working collaboratively with dentists and dental support teams We're Looking For Someone Who Is: Friendly, professional, and compassionate Detail-oriented and committed to clinical excellence Comfortable educating patients and discussing recommended treatment Confident working independently while functioning as part of a collaborative dental team Able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and quality of care Passionate about preventive dentistry and improving patients’ long-term oral health Dependable, motivated, and eager to grow within a successful dental practice Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and sit for extended periods throughout the workday Ability to safely perform clinical dental hygiene procedures and maintain appropriate positioning throughout patient care Ability to lift and move clinical supplies and equipment as needed Ability to work safely in a clinical environment while following OSHA and infection control protocols If you’re a skilled, compassionate Dental Hygienist who enjoys providing exceptional patient care and wants to expand your experience in dental implants, prosthodontics, and specialized patient care, we’d love to hear from you.
