Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Compensation: $1795 - $2163 | Shift: 5x8 Evenings

In your role as a Registered Nurse within this long-term care facility, you will be instrumental in promoting the health and comfort of residents. Your key responsibilities will encompass:

• Effective communication with physicians, families, and other stakeholders regarding significant changes in residents' health status
• Conducting all necessary resident assessments
• Administering medications in accordance with the 5 Rights
• Providing wound care and assessments as required
• Supporting CNAs in responding to call lights
• Monitoring residents for any changes in their condition
• Taking a leadership role on the floor by evaluating and managing situations as they arise
• Reporting any suspected cases of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to the Director of Nursing and Administrator
• Keeping accurate resident records with detailed and precise charting
• Carrying out additional duties as assigned

To thrive in this position, you should possess:

• A two-year nursing degree (a four-year degree is preferred)
• A valid Registered Nursing license in Wisconsin
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• A minimum of one year of experience in a similar setting
• Outstanding accuracy and attention to detail
