About the Role:  

Bill's Mobile Crane Service Inc is looking for a skilled Welder to join our team in Fayetteville, NC! This is a hands-on opportunity to work with heavy equipment and industrial machinery in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Responsibilities:  

• Perform MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding on structural and mechanical components
• Inspect and repair crane components, frames, and heavy equipment parts
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings
• Conduct quality checks on completed welds to ensure structural integrity and safety compliance
• Operate cutting tools, grinders, and other fabrication equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with safety protocols
• Collaborate with mechanics and field crews to support crane maintenance and repair operations

Requirements:

 

• Proven experience as a Welder, preferably in heavy equipment or industrial settings
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding techniques
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and weld specifications
• Knowledge of welding safety standards and PPE requirements
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a physically demanding environment
• Valid driver's license preferred; reliable transportation required
