Happy Head is the global leader in dermatologist-prescribed hair medicine. As the leading telemedicine platform focused exclusively on hair growth, we provide powerful, personalized medical treatment tailored to each patient. Our medicines are prescribed and patients are cared for by board-certified dermatologists, the only medical specialty with dedicated training in hair and scalp health. The Role Happy Head is looking for a highly skilled, hands‑on Senior Designer to join our in‑house creative team. This role will own projects from brief through final execution and work closely with our Creative Director and cross‑functional partners across Brand, Growth, Product, CRM, and E‑commerce. We’re looking for someone who has strong design fundamentals but also understands how creative performs in a fast‑moving, direct‑to‑consumer environment. You should be equally comfortable developing a polished campaign concept, creating and iterating paid social ads, editing short‑form video, and designing high‑converting e‑commerce experiences. This is a highly executional role with significant creative ownership. What You’ll Do Partner closely with the Creative Director to develop and execute creative across product launches, campaigns, CRM, organic social, partnerships, and other key brand initiatives Translate brand strategy and creative direction into polished, consistent visual executions across channels Help evolve the Happy Head visual identity while maintaining a cohesive brand system Develop campaign concepts, visual directions, layouts, typography, and design systems that can scale across multiple touchpoints Collaborate with copywriters, marketers, creators, photographers, and other creative partners Paid & Performance Creative Design high‑performing creative across Meta, Google, AppLovin, X, Criteo, and emerging paid channels Develop new creative concepts and variations on a weekly cadence based on performance data, customer insights, competitive trends, and testing opportunities Work closely with Growth and Performance Marketing to understand what is working and quickly translate those learnings into new creative Create and adapt static, video, UGC, motion, and mixed‑format assets for different platforms and audiences Build creative systems that enable faster testing without sacrificing quality Balance strong brand storytelling with direct‑response principles and conversion goals Video & Motion Edit short‑form paid and organic video using tools such as Premiere Pro and CapCut Create motion graphics and animated assets using Adobe After Effects Turn static concepts into engaging video and motion executions Edit creator and UGC footage into compelling performance creative Understand platform‑native pacing, hooks, formats, and storytelling for paid social E‑commerce & Conversion Design Support design across Happy Head’s Shopify experiences, landing pages, collection pages, product detail pages, and promotional experiences Partner with Product, Growth, and E‑commerce teams to improve customer experience and conversion Design merchandising updates, promotional modules, bundles, and launch experiences Help create a strong connection between paid creative and the on‑site experience, particularly for OTC products Use performance and conversion insights to improve design over time Contribute to wireframes, page concepts, and visual design for new e‑commerce experiences What We’re Looking For 5+ years of professional design experience, ideally within a consumer, DTC, beauty, wellness, healthcare, or high‑growth brand Strong portfolio demonstrating excellent visual design across brand, digital, paid social, and e‑commerce Experience creating performance marketing creative and iterating based on results Strong understanding of typography, layout, hierarchy, composition, and visual storytelling Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects Strong working knowledge of Figma Experience editing short‑form video and creator/UGC content Experience designing for Shopify or other e‑commerce environments Ability to work quickly and manage multiple projects without sacrificing attention to detail Comfortable receiving feedback, iterating quickly, and working in a highly collaborative environment Strong understanding of social platforms and current creative trends A portfolio that shows both strong taste and the ability to create work that performs Bonus Points Experience in hair care, beauty, wellness, healthcare, or telemedicine Experience working with UGC and creator content Familiarity with CRO and conversion‑focused design Experience with AI‑powered creative and design tools Experience with photography or directing photo/video shoots Experience building modular creative systems for high‑volume paid media testing Who You Are You’re a strong designer who wants more ownership and is ready to grow into broader art direction.
