Sort Associate

Sort Technician Department: Operations Employment Type: Full-Time Hourly Rate: $24 Job Summary The Sort Technician is responsible for capturing the details of every IT asset DMD receives. This role uses decision matrices and interprets incomplete information to maximize the value of each asset. Key Responsibilities Capture associated IT asset data and enter into our system Determine the next phase of the process for each item Organize equipment based on type, value, or other criteria as necessary Separate items based on resale or recycle Make recommendations and take actions to improve the department and outcomes Participate in offsite projects as appropriate Perform other duties as necessary and assigned Education and Experience High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Computer basics including data entry Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, and consistent Previous warehouse experience preferred Physical Requirements May require standing for long periods, squatting, twisting, bending, and lifting 10-50 lbs.
