Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join a dynamic clinical team at SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital - Lake Saint Louis, a 216-bed acute care hospital with a 30-bed acute rehabilitation unit.

The position is posted as Dietitian Nutritionist Level I but may be adjusted based on qualifications. New graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply. Join a collaborative and supportive dietitian team dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

What You'll Do

• Provide medical nutrition therapy and complete nutrition assessments for inpatients across multiple units, including ICU and stepdown
• Deliver patient and family nutrition education based on individualized care plans
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes
• Document care using the Nutrition Care Process in the EPIC electronic health record
• Manage daily caseload independently while prioritizing patient needs
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team

What You Bring

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) or RD-eligible (must obtain credential within 120 days of hire)
• Eligible for licensure in Missouri
• Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition and the Nutrition Care Process
• Experience in acute care nutrition preferred

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
