US MEAL Manager

Hope for Justice is looking for a US MEAL Manager to lead the development and implementation of our Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) approach across our US programs. This is a key role helping ensure we can effectively measure our progress, learn from our work, strengthen program quality and provide meaningful evidence of our impact.

Working closely with US program teams and our wider organizational MEAL function, you'll develop systems and frameworks that support effective monitoring and evaluation, strengthen the way we collect and use data, and help embed a culture of learning and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

To manage US MEAL strategy and system development and implement related activities to track progress against the Hope for Justice goals and objectives. Manage UK or global MEAL strategy as needed or requested by Senior MEAL Advisor

Reporting

Support US programs teams to provide routine programmatic reporting to internal and external audiences

Ensure that staff have the data they need for decision making, including donor and awards management.

Improvement of monitoring and evaluation activities

Oversee adoption of PMDPro and MEAL DPro and oversee adaptation for US and UK operations 

Lead on development of Theories of Change, logic models, results frameworks and performance monitoring plans for projects and prograes in the US

Lead on developing organizational approach to adult survivors of trafficking 

Commission and manage external evaluations on US Programs as required 

Site visits as needed including for donor audits.

Data management

Input into and lead locally on the transformation of data collection, analysis and reporting processes and accountability over data in partnership with organizational MEAL team

Periodical review and recommend efficiencies to data collection, reporting, and data base management processes and procedures. 

Support US programs to utilize case management systems data for reporting 

Carry out data collection, cleaning, mining, analysis and reporting activities using tools such as Excel and Power BI 

Ensure that data management is in line with data security and privacy policies where applicable 

 Learning

Design and lead internal learning meetings, project reviews and baseline and other assessments, to encourage staff reflection and to inform planning.

Contribute towards other teams

Participate in global MEAL conversations and processes, representing US Programs. 

Support US Program funding applications in relation to MEAL considerations 

Provide guidance on data processes, analysis, and management to other team members.

Support research opportunities or meetings with potential partners with data and evaluation results, as approved. 

Respond to ad hoc assignments requested from time to time. 

Ensure harmonious working relationships with all Hope for Justice departments and staff.

Salary: Up to $87,000 depending on experience
