About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12 Hours Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years of inpatient OR experience, level 1 trauma preferred. License: Current RN license Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: - Competency in at least 5 of the surgical services listed: general, gynecology, urology, oral, otolaryngology, bariatrics, orthopedics, neurosurgery, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pediatrics, trauma, spine. - Excellent communication skills. - Positive attitude and flexibility. Description: MID - 12-hour shifts with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. Day shift starts at 7 AM. Evening shifts start at 9 AM and 11 AM. Every 3rd weekend is required as needed. Every other holiday is required. On call shifts: 1 time per schedule. May float to other operating rooms if needed. Scrubbing experience is required. Surgical services include a variety of specialties. The operating room is staffed 24/7. Candidates should be competent in multiple surgical specialties. A positive attitude and flexibility are essential for this role.
