Fusion Bonder What You’ll Be Part Of

You’ll be part of a construction team supporting semiconductor manufacturing facilities and high-purity process systems. This role focuses on pipe fusion, working with materials to support the installation of critical piping systems.

The work you do directly supports the construction and installation of systems used in semiconductor manufacturing. Precision, consistency, and attention to detail are essential when preparing, aligning, fusing, and inspecting piping in a high-specification environment.

• Perform pipe fusion according to project specifications and drawings.
• Prepare, fit, align, and fuse pipe and components with accuracy and consistency.
• Read and interpret drawings, layouts, isometric drawings, and work instructions.
• Perform plastic fusion work according to project requirements and quality standards.
• Inspect completed fusion joints and identify potential issues or defects.
• Maintain proper alignment, dimensions, and workmanship throughout the fusion process.
• Follow established safety, quality, and work procedures while working on an active construction site.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including maintaining appropriate housekeeping practices for semiconductor construction environments.
• Work closely with Project Engineers, Project Managers, and other construction team members to complete work efficiently and accurately.
• Communicate any quality, material, or installation concerns to the appropriate team members.
• Follow all site-specific requirements, procedures, and safety protocols.

• Previous experience as a Fusion Bonder, Fusion Technician, Plastic Pipe Fitter, Plastic Fabricator, or similar role.
• Experience with pipe fusion
• Semiconductor, high-purity process piping, industrial construction, cleanroom, or advanced manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience working with engineered plastics or specialty materials preferred.
• Hands-on experience with thermoplastic pipe fusion and fabrication.
• Ability to accurately prepare, fit, align, and fuse plastic piping and components.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, layouts, and fabrication plans.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team.
• Reliable work history and strong safety mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment and meet project schedules.
