JOB SUMMARY:

Working out of our Community Based Care facility, the Med Tech is responsible for administering medications to our residents in our Memory Care Community accordance withthe established policies and procedures as directed by the supervisor. Sapphire will providethe training and resources to keep our employees engaged and maintain topquality care.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide residentswith routine daily nursing care and services
• Administermedications as ordered and in accordance with state and federal regulations andfacility policies and procedures
• Seeklicensed staff assistance as needed
• As a Med Tech you will followthe plan of care and chart all appropriate documentation
• Maintain patient confidentiality
• Communicateboth orally and written with staff, residents, family members, etc
• Fostersa supportive, compassionate environment for our residents and their families
• Other duties as assigned

WHO WE ARE: One of Sapphire's newest communities, McKenzie Manor, formerly SouthTowne was acquired in November 2022. This community is 100% memory care and is comprised of 47 total units. Recently we have repainted the entire interior and rolled out a brand new furniture package. The grounds have had many improvements as well including renovations to the entry way. Sapphire provides on going training, tuition reimbursement, competitive wages and generous incentives to all employees.
