Role Description This full-time, on-site position as a Critical Care Paramedic offers the opportunity to work in South Fulton, GA. As a Critical Care Paramedic, you will provide advanced life support care during high-acuity patient transport and emergency scenarios. Responsibilities include monitoring patient vital signs, administering medications, managing medical equipment, collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care. The role also entails maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to Grady’s policies and medical protocols to deliver superior patient outcomes. Qualifications Thorough knowledge of advanced pre-hospital care techniques, management of critical-care patients, and proficiency in advanced airway management. Skill in the operation and maintenance of emergency medical equipment, such as ventilators, defibrillators, and infusion pumps. Strong decision-making abilities, effective communication, and collaboration skills for working within medical teams and during high-stress emergency situations. Current certification as a Paramedic, along with Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Valid state licensure and valid driver’s license with a clean driving record are required. Ability to remain calm under pressure and provide compassionate care to patients and their families. Preferred qualifications include prior experience in critical care transport or emergency medical services, certification in Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS), and familiarity with trauma and stroke protocols. #J-18808-Ljbffr Grady Health System
