U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance DoD Clearance: Secret Active and existing security clearance required after day 1 We are seeking an experienced Aerothermal Design Engineer to play a critical role in the design and development of high-performance systems where aerodynamics and thermal performance are essential to success. In this role, you will lead complex aerothermal analyses, apply advanced modeling and simulation techniques, and influence design decisions from earlyconceptthrough qualification and production. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, bring deep technical judgment to challenging problems, and contribute to the advancement of next-generation technology. This position offers the opportunity to work on technically demanding programs, have a visible impact on system performance and reliability, and shape innovative solutions throughout the product lifecycle. What You Will Do Execute, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of aerothermal design for turbomachinery Support root cause investigations and develop innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges Maintain, improve, and develop techniques, methods, and standards for the aerodynamic design of turbomachinery Participate in multidisciplinary teams engaged in the design and development ofnew technologiesand system architectures to achieveoptimalperformance Support prototype and production development test activities Identifyopportunities andestablishstrategies to improve engineering processes, tools, technologies, and quality control standards Perform verification and validation of compressor, turbine, and fan performance maps for relevant applications Lead the implementation of changes based on analysis of industry trends and developments in turbomachinery Share knowledge, mentor, and help develop the next generation of engineers Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience Priorengineering experience withinaerospace, automotive, power generationor manufacturingenvironments. The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
