EMT or Paramedic (Clinic Manager)

Overview Medcor is seeking a full‑time EMT or Paramedic to serve as Clinic Manager at our construction site clinic in Yerington, NV . Hours are Monday–Friday 7:00 am–3:00 pm, with potential weekend shifts as required. Per diem of $140 per day for those who qualify. Responsibilities Provide oversight and support of clinic workflows, logistics, and scheduling. Manage clinic operations and patient care, including workers’ compensation case management, return‑to‑work program support, treatment plan monitoring, and OSHA record keeping. Work collaboratively with key client stakeholders—health, safety, environmental, HR, and benefits— as well as medical and operational leadership at Medcor. Administer and manage health service functions and daily clinic operations. Provide superior customer service to Medcor’s client and employees. Assessment and treatment of workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor’s Evidence Based Medicine protocols (Medcor Care Protocols). Build and maintain internal team relationships and support onsite employee health and wellness efforts. Collaborate with client human resources, benefits professionals, and health, safety and environmental professionals on clinic issues. Document and manage information using electronic medical records software and other tools. Conduct pre‑employment and post‑offer screenings, physical assessment testing (PATs), and case management. Maintain OSHA record‑keeping. Qualifications Operate and support a clinic team as a leader. Valid licensure for the position (EMT or Paramedic) and current CPR/BLS certification. Strong computer and technology skills, with familiarity with EMR software. Physical ability to lift a 50‑lb emergency response bag. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Positive, outgoing personality and willingness to go above and beyond. Passion for people and commitment to high‑quality care. Ability to have fun in the workplace. Preferred Qualifications Comfortable working in a construction environment. Relevant occupational health experience. Experience in emergency medicine or critical care.
