Job Title: Inpatient Pharmacist – Nights (Travel Contract)
Location: Lubbock, Texas
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 7 On / 7 Off | Nights (8:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
Hours: 36 hours per week
We are seeking a skilled Inpatient Pharmacist for a travel contract role to support a hospital pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will have recent inpatient experience and be comfortable working night shifts in a fast-paced clinical environment, including pediatric patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Review, verify, and dispense medications in an inpatient setting
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff to optimize patient care
- Ensure safe and effective medication use, including for pediatric patients
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication documentation
- Adhere to hospital policies, regulatory standards, and safety protocols
- Active Texas Pharmacist License required
- Recent hospital inpatient pharmacy experience required
- Pediatric experience/exposure required
- Candidates with retail-only experience will not be considered
- 7 On / 7 Off block schedule
- Every other weekend required
- No call duties
- No floating between units
- 181-bed acute care facility
