The Warehouse Assistant plays a vital role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations in a general merchandise environment. Working primarily on the day shift, this position involves loading and unloading goods, organizing the warehouse space, and managing shipping and receiving tasks. The role reports directly to the Operations Supervisor and relies on manual inventory tracking to support daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload merchandise safely and efficiently
• Manage shipping and receiving processes accurately
• Maintain organized warehouse layout and inventory storage
• Track inventory using manual systems
• Collaborate with team members to support smooth operations
• Report to Operations Supervisor with updates and issues
• Adhere to safety procedures at all times
• Deliver Products to job sites
• Pick up supplies in our vehicles

Required Qualifications

• Forklift Operator Certification
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in warehouse operations
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Familiarity with inventory management systems
• Forklift operation skills
• Physical stamina for manual labor
• Attention to detail
• Effective time management
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Knowledge of safety procedures
