Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a Level I Trauma facility in Broward County, FL, requiring a minimum of 3 years of OR experience with scrub, circulate, Ortho, and Neuro capabilities.

Details

• Operating Room unit within a Level I Trauma hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
• Every other weekend required
• On-call and holiday coverage required
• Must be able to both scrub and circulate
• Orthopedic and neurosurgical case experience required
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required at time of consideration: BLS and ACLS (both via AHA), PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 3 years of recent OR experience required
• Level I Trauma OR experience required
• Experience must be consecutive within the past 24 months in a U.S. hospital
• Degree must be from an accredited school, or from an institution approved by the Florida Board of Nursing (FBON) with at least 2 years of recent consecutive acute care experience within the past 24 months
• Proof of vaccination status required — no declinations accepted

Additional Information

• Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are eligible and considered at a local rate
• Pass/fail EKG (Basic Arrhythmia) assessment required prior to start
• Smoke-free facility
• 13-week contract
