Job Outline

• Perform thorough patient evaluations that encompass detailed physical exams and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging results and laboratory findings
• Work side by side with surgeons to create and implement individualized surgical care plans
• Provide intraoperative assistance, including the preparation of surgical spaces and the management of patient positioning
• Offer superb pre-operative and post-operative care, such as administering medications, handling wound care, discharge strategizing, and educating patients

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferred completion of clinical rotations focusing on surgical practice

Certifications Required

• Active and unrestricted PA-C licensure
• Mandatory BLS and ACLS certifications
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant in Florida
