Join our healthcare partner in providing top-notch rehabilitative care to patients with physical functioning disorders. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision and direction of a Physical Therapist, utilizing evidence-based practices to deliver skilled and medically necessary treatment interventions.

• Administer rehabilitation procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, and modalities
• Assess patient progress and communicate with supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers
• Effectively communicate with the healthcare team regarding patient progress and treatment plans
• Document all required information in the electronic documentation system
• Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation meetings
• Supervise and support students under the guidance of the Physical Therapist
• Adhere to APTA and State Required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics
• Active State Licensure in Texas required

Requirements:

• Need 1 year experience in setting
• LTC or Rehab Experience required
• PTA license required
