About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice Dean of Admissions to play a pivotal role in the recruitment and admission process, with a focus on the West Coast region. The successful candidate will be a senior member of the Admissions leadership team, responsible for strategic enrollment and marketing, and will serve as the institution's senior admissions representative in the area. This role demands a respected admissions professional with a strong background in selective college admissions, particularly in recruiting students throughout California and the broader West Coast. The Vice Dean will lead the application review process, the athletics admission process, and travel management, and will be expected to influence strategy, mentor colleagues, and lead operational initiatives. Essential responsibilities include fostering collaboration, representing the institution to various audiences, and ensuring a commitment to diversity and a sense of belonging for all students. Applicants for the Vice Dean of Admissions position at the company should possess a bachelor's degree, with an advanced degree strongly preferred, and have a minimum of ten years of experience in the field. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in strategic recruitment, enrollment practices, and the ability to manage a selective application review process. Experience in athletics admissions and using Slate for recruitment strategy is also essential.
