Job Description Acute Care Surgeon opening in Wilmington, NC Located in Wilmington, NC Full-time, permanent position Employed opportunity Overview: Seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Acute Care Surgeon to join our high-volume, academically focused group Provide comprehensive care in Trauma, Emergency General Surgery, and Surgical Critical Care Our team consists of 7 full-time Acute Care Surgery faculty supported by surgical residents and advanced practice providers The division handles approximately 3,800 trauma cases annually, with a similar volume of EGS patients We are an ACS-verified Level II trauma center actively preparing for Level I verification.
