Job Summary: We offer $7,500 relocation assistance.

We are looking to hire an experienced licensed plumber to join our team. Candidate must have reliable transportation and be able to commute to Steamboat for work each day. Once at work, a work truck with tools and parts will be provided. The technician will be working solo on many jobs, but will team up with other technician(s) and/or an apprentice for larger jobs. In this role, you will focus on high-end boiler/hydronic system installations and maintenance. We also respond to all types of plumbing, heating, and HVAC service calls. We do not do remodels, new construction, septic systems, or drain issues.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains and repairs general plumbing components to include toilets, urinals, faucets, hose bibs, and drains.
• Installs, repairs, or replaces domestic hot and cold water lines.
• Repairs and replaces steam to hot water exchangers for major building heating systems and pools.
• Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures.
• Perform basic tasks such as cutting, threading, and bending pipes.
• Repairs and replaces pneumatic steam valves, radiator valves, traps, and steam and condensate pipes.
• Keep work areas and van clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting plumbing issues.
• Maintain accurate records of materials used and work performed.
• Interact professionally with clients and provide excellent customer service.
• Adhere to all plumbing codes and workplace safety standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid plumbing license
• Three (3) years experience preferred
• Ability to work solo with minimal supervision or as a team
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Strong work ethic and a reliable, punctual nature.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Excellence in customer service and attention to detail, takes pride in their work and demands high quality finished-products
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
