PAY:
Local Pay - 

Travelers Pay: 
Taxable Amount - $50.5/hr on W2
Lodging Stipend - $800 weekly
Meals Stipend - $607 weekly
Weekly Gross - $3,225 weekly including stipend for 36 hours.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position - RN-Med Surg Oncology
Location - Johnson City, NY 13790
Duration - 13 weeks contract
Shift - 7 pm to 7:30 am, every other weekend

Weekly Hours - 36 hours 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assesses, plans, delegates, coordinates, implements and evaluates nursing care in managing a group of patients, serving as a primary nurse and/or accountable nurse, when designated by unit assignment and consideration of factors related to safety, effectiveness, competency, cost and impact.
Educates patient and family in health promotion and disease management using available resources.
Utilizes a working knowledge of pharmacology and safely administers medications according to United Health Services policy.
Shares in responsibility for productivity and effective resources utilization including staffing, time management, supplies and services.
Complies with all nursing practice standards, regulatory requirements, and United Health Services policies.
Actively participates in and supports the Nursing Shared Governance Model by supporting the Unit Council, participating in improvement initiatives, and contributing to peer review practices.
Actively engages in professional development, continuing nursing education, and completing all mandatory education requirements.
Integrates nursing research and current evidence into practice.
Provides a supportive learning environment for new employees and students.
Will follow all United Health Services Values.
Will perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENT:
2+ years Oncology experience required with Med/surg tele background.

Chemo administration experience required

New York RN license, BLS, ACLS, ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate
