Shift details: Shift 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM, shifts per week 3, scheduled hours 36.
Job order details: Start date 07/20/2026, end date 10/19/2026, duration 13 weeks.
Job description: Responsibilities include operating MRI scanner which produces several cross-sectional scans and combines them into one to form a 3-dimensional image for Radiologists viewing. Consistently obtain high quality imaging for Radiologist interpretation. General understanding of PACS (Picture Archive Communication System) and its function. Responsible for maintaining safety for anyone within the MRI zones. Documents patient care services in hospital records. Able to interact compassionately and effectively with the sick or injured. Supports and promotes the values and mission of the organization. Courteous interaction with co-workers/peers.
Requirements: Education: Associate's Degree required. Licensure(s): ARRT certified Radiography & State of Maine Radiography. Certification(s): ARRT MRI certified preferred. Registration(s): ARRT Radiography.
Additional information: If traveler resides within 50 miles of the facility a $10/hr decrease will apply. Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid. St. Joseph's can cancel up to 3 shifts per 13 week contract.
