3 weeks ago Be among the first 25 applicants Location: Brentwood, TN | Full-Time | In-Office A well-established boutique law firm in Brentwood, Tennessee, is seeking a professional, highly organized Paralegal to join its team with a focus on probate . The firm handles a high volume of probate matters and serves a wide range of clients across Middle Tennessee, including fiduciaries and families navigating complex estates. Responsibilities: Prepare and file probate pleadings, including petitions, notices, and inventories Coordinate all aspects of estate administration from initial filing to final distributions Draft correspondence to clients, courts, and financial institutions Manage deadlines, track court dates, and maintain accurate case files Work directly with personal representatives, beneficiaries, and courts Assist with collecting, organizing, and valuing estate assets Communicate with county clerks, probate courts, and tax professionals as needed Prepare accountings, receipts, and final reports for court approval Assist with post-death trust administration tasks, including asset retitling and beneficiary distributions Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of experience in probate or litigation support (law firm or fiduciary services experience preferred) Strong familiarity with Tennessee probate procedures and court systems Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word and Excel); experience with case management software is a plus Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage time-sensitive tasks Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Capable of managing multiple estates simultaneously with professionalism and discretion Preferred: Experience working with complex estates or high-net-worth families Prior experience in a boutique or specialized law firm setting Notary Public (or willingness to obtain certification) Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Administrative and Legal Industries Legal Services, Law Practice, and Trusts and Estates Featured Benefits Inferred from the description for this job Medical insurance Vision insurance 401(k) Get notified when a new job is posted.
