While this position is not currently available for application, we are welcoming expressions of interest from individuals who want to be considered once hiring begins. The Receptionist / ID Checker will be the first point of contact for customers, responsible for verifying identification, greeting visitors, and maintaining a compliant, professional, and welcoming environment. Anticipated Responsibilities When this position becomes available, responsibilities will include: Greeting customers and verifying government-issued photo identification to ensure compliance with Maryland cannabis laws. Checking in customers and maintaining accurate visitor logs. Directing customers to the appropriate service areas. Answering phones, assisting with inquiries, and providing information about store policies. Supporting daily operations through administrative and customer service tasks. Maintaining the cleanliness, order, and professionalism of the reception area. Ensuring customer privacy and confidentiality at all times. Anticipated Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older. High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service preferred. Ability to verify IDs accurately and follow strict compliance protocols.
