We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at our apartment complex. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of the property and providing a safe and well-maintained living environment for our residents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building maintenance, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs.

• Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly, addressing issues efficiently and professionally.

• Conduct regular property inspections to identify potential issues and proactively address them before they become significant problems.

• Maintain common areas, amenities, and grounds, ensuring that they are clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times.

• Collaborate with the property management team to coordinate and schedule maintenance tasks, inspections, and repairs.

• Adhere to all applicable safety regulations, building codes, and company policies, promoting a safe work environment.

• Assist with apartment turnovers, preparing vacant units for new residents, and ensuring that they meet the company's quality standards.

• Monitor inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment, coordinating with the management team to order replacements as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience in building maintenance, preferably within the apartment or residential property management industry.

• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently, managing time and priorities efficiently.

• Strong attention to detail, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service to residents.

• Availability to work on-call hours and respond to emergency maintenance requests after regular business hours.
