Starting Salary: $75,000 (Negotiable upon experience)

Basic Qualifications

Education/Training: Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field preferred; specialized training in residential mortgage and/or consumer loan servicing preferred.

Skill(s):   Knowledge with FIS Horizon required . Intermediate to advanced knowledge of commercial, residential and consumer loan servicing operations. Proficient English reading, writing, grammar, mathematics, interpersonal, and communication skills; advanced organizational and project management skills; ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams with limited oversight and meet strict deadlines; strong attention to detail; proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Office. 

Experience: A minimum of five (5) years loan operations and servicing experience required, including direct exposure to loan boarding, payment processing, payoffs, reconciliation, and investor reporting. Knowledge in escrow administration is beneficial but can be taught.

 

General Responsibilities

Responsible for a wide range of duties spanning including loan boarding, escrow administration, payment processing, participation reporting, payoffs, loan maintenance, and if applicable general ledger reconciliation. Your role will ensure operational excellence, data accuracy, and exceptional customer experience.

Essential Duties

• Processes loan payments accurately and in accordance with established procedures.
• Prepares payoff statements, validates supporting calculations and fees, and processes loan payoffs and partial-release proceeds.
• Books new loans and verifies that system data agrees with approved loan documentation.
• Processes approved changes in terms and other loan maintenance accurately and timely.
• Indexes and maintains loan documentation in Director and applicable client folders in accordance with record-retention and imaging standards.
• Reviews Director reports daily, research exceptions, and resolves discrepancies within established timeframes and procedures.
• Researches and responds to customer and internal inquiries accurately, professionally, and within established service standards.
• Prepares, reviews, reconciles, and submits monthly SBA 1502 and PPP reports, as applicable.
• Reviews loans for Federal Home Loan Bank pledging eligibility and coordinates required system coding.
• Uploads monthly Federal Home Loan Bank reports, reviews reported exceptions and completes necessary corrections.
• Monitors and maintains the interest-reserve tracking process, including holds and related payment activity.
• Reviews E-Oscar activity weekly and processes consumer disputes in accordance with approved policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Performs daily general ledger reconciliations, investigates variances, and ensures timely resolution of outstanding items.
• Prepares workout payoff statements, including manual interest calculations and applicable invoices or fees.
• Uses Microsoft Excel and other Bank systems to maintain accurate records, complete reconciliations, and support operational reporting.
• Provides operational coverage in the absence of the Loan Operations Manager, including assigned approvals of payoffs, TMS activity, reports, and daily general ledger reconciliations.
• Adheres to all applicable laws, regulations, Bank policies, procedures, and internal controls supporting risk management, regulatory compliance, and the Bank’s overall safety and soundness.
• Supports a professional workplace that complies with the Bank’s policies regarding equal employment opportunity, harassment, and unlawful discrimination.
• Coordinates assigned activities with personnel throughout the department and across the Bank to promote an accurate, timely, and efficient flow of information.
• Provides the immediate supervisor and other authorized Bank personnel with complete and accurate reports, data, and other relevant information in accordance with established schedules or as requested.
