Financial Data Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Data Analyst to support ongoing finance and accounting operations within a structured corporate environment. This role is ideal for an early-career professional looking to deepen their experience in financial analysis, reporting, and month-end close processes while working alongside a collaborative finance team.

Responsibilities

• Financial Operations & Month-End Close
  
  
• Support month-end close activities by preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations
• Execute defined close processes and ensure completion of required tasks and checklists
• Validate financial data for accuracy and consistency
• Assist in maintaining organized and efficient financial workflows
• Reporting & Analysis
  
  
• Prepare recurring financial reports and assist with data compilation
• Perform basic variance analysis, identifying trends and key drivers
• Support ad hoc reporting requests and data inquiries
• Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights
• Data Support & Process Execution
  
  
• Work with financial and operational data to support reporting needs
• Utilize spreadsheets and reporting tools to organize and analyze information
• Follow established processes while identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements
• Collaboration & Communication
  
  
• Partner with internal stakeholders across finance and business functions
• Communicate effectively in a professional, corporate environment
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing initiatives
• Demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks while working independently

Skills Required

• 2-3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis
• Experience working in a corporate or professional environment
• Strong proficiency in Excel and comfort working with financial data
• Familiarity with month-end close processes , including journal entries and reconciliations
• Ability to manage tasks independently and follow structured processes
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Exposure to financial reporting, budgeting, or forecasting
• Experience supporting variance analysis or data-driven finance initiatives
• Interest in developing deeper financial analysis and business partnering skills
