Are you an experienced manufacturing professional who enjoys leading people, solving problems, and keeping production moving? Stevens Industries is looking for a Production Team Lead to help lead our manufacturing team and keep daily operations running safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

This is more than a job on the production floor-you'll play an important role in developing employees, improving processes, maintaining quality, and helping our team succeed.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead, motivate, and support production team members while providing training, coaching, and feedback.
• Assist the Production Supervisor with daily production activities and workflow.
• Monitor production goals, quality, and efficiency while identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Troubleshoot production issues and help develop solutions to keep operations running smoothly.
• Promote a safe, clean, and productive work environment and ensure safety policies and regulations are followed.
• Monitor product quality and make adjustments when needed to ensure specifications are met.
• Lead daily safety checks of equipment, including forklifts, conveyor equipment, and designated areas of tractor-trailer and over-the-road trucks.
• Train and cross-train employees in other production positions as needed.
• Work closely with Engineering, Logistics, Quality, and other departments to maintain a smooth workflow.
• Help implement continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

WHAT YOU BRING

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a production team.
• Strong understanding of production processes, equipment, tools, and materials.
• Knowledge of quality control, inventory management, and lean manufacturing principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new responsibilities.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and customers.
