Job Description:
As a Travel CT Tech , you'll perform high-quality computed tomography scans to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of medical conditions. You'll work closely with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure optimal imaging and patient care. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans in accordance with physician orders and safety standards
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and accuracy
- Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment
- Administer contrast materials when required
- Monitor patients during scans and respond to any adverse reactions
- Maintain detailed patient records and imaging data
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT) required
- Active state license (or eligibility) to practice as a CT Technologist
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent CT experience in a clinical or hospital setting
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, radiation safety, and contrast use
- Experience with Siemens, GE, or Philips CT systems preferred
