Aircraft Electrical & Electronics Mechanic - C130

Overview You will be the Aircraft Electrical & Electronics Mechanic – C130 responsible for installing preassembled wiring harnesses in accordance with predetermined routing and fastening in place with clips, brackets, and other holding devices. Responsibilities Installing preassembled wiring harnesses in conformance with predetermined routing Hooking up wiring to equipment, panels, relays, and accessories Making continuity checks on primary installations Routing wire on an electrical wiring board – pin and plug process Stripping, crimping, terminating, and soldering wire Qualifications The ideal candidate must have at least two years of aircraft electrical assembly experience, the ability to read electrical blueprints, and proficiency in wiring harness buildup, routing on a wiring board, stripping, crimping, terminating, soldering, and installing wiring harnesses in aircraft. The position requires U.S. citizenship and passing a performance demonstration test (RM3963). Clearance Level: None Desired Skills Electrical assemblies, wire harnesses, wire bundles, circuit breakers Splicing, insulation, tying and installing of plugs and connecting devices Integrated avionics systems Aircraft electronic devices and avionics/electronics installations Electrical and environmental systems Electro- mechanical instruments and communication and navigation systems Schedule Shift: First. Work schedule: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week. Location: onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Full‑time, hourly, non‑exempt.
