What You'll Do

• Perform patient evaluations using formal and informal testing methods to assess skeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular functions.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans based on assessments and patient tolerance.
• Submit treatment plans for physician approval and coordinate care to meet patient needs.
• Devising treatment schedules, including frequency and duration, in collaboration with patients and families.
• Educate patients and caregivers on pathology, treatment options, prognosis, and interventions like exercise and modalities.
• Delegate responsibilities appropriately to Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides.

What You Need

Required:

• Valid Physical Therapy license for Michigan
• Experience in outpatient settings preferred
• Strong assessment and patient education skills

Preferred:

• Prior experience working with diverse patient populations
• Ability to coordinate treatment plans and communicate effectively
