As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by providing excellent maintenance and repair services.Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry workConduct repairs and replacements of equipment, fixtures, and appliancesAssist with general maintenance duties, such as painting, cleaning, and preparing areas for special eventsRespond to resident and staff requests for maintenance and repair servicesCollaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operationsMaintain accurate records of work completed and materials usedDemonstrate a commitment to resident satisfaction and safetyRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent required (no experience necessary)Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasksStrong problem-solving and communication skillsFamiliarity with basic hand tools and equipmentAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAs a Maintenance Assistant at Accela Rehab and Care Center at Somerton, you will be part of a dynamic team that values quality care, compassion, and dedication.
